Introducing "Zäme en Unterschied mache” (Together we make a difference), McDonald’s Switzerland first unified brand trust communication platform, encompassing all aspects of our plan towards becoming the most responsible and sustainable restaurant brand in Switzerland.
2022 will mark another milestone in our journey to source all our packaging from renewable, recycled or certified sources by 2025; by saving 200t of plastic from the system through a whole array of packaging changes, ranging from cold cups plastic straws and lids removal in-store to all Happy Meal toys made of sustainable material.
These are meaningful changes to celebrate, recognizing the essential role of the crew and the guest in this journey.
This actions first words second communication platform will be a red thread in our plan this year, focusing on the major and most meaningful initiatives for the guest, such as: our Q2 Food Quality and Sourcing Open Doors events across Switzerland; our September Clean-Up-Day cluster events collecting waste across Switzerland.
